The man took the first dose on January 16 and the second one on February 15. His samples were examined when he had high fever and he tested positive on February 20, Gandhinagar's Chief Health Officer Dr MH Solanki said. The man is currently in home isolation, Solanki added. The CHO said it generally takes around 45 days for antibodies against the infection to develop after both the doses are administered. He also said adhering to COVID protocols is a must even after taking both doses.

Dinesh Trivedi had resigned as TMC MP in Rajya Sabha on February 12. Trivedi left the Mamata Banerjee-led party saying he felt suffocated. He also alleged that the party was "no longer in hands of" its chief Mamata Banerjee.
Dinesh Trivedi's resignation came two days after he had endorsed Prime Minister Modi's speech in Lok Sabha in which he called for a key role in the private sector. He had also applauded the BJP-led Centre saying the country is under the best leadership.
