Jul 01, 2020 12:59 IST

Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has been named the Most Valuable Player of the 21st century by Wisden India who used CricViz to analyse the all-rounder's performance. Jadeja's MVP rating is as high as 97.3, ahead of Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan who is the 2nd most valuable Test player of the 21st century. While Cricviz called the 31-year-old an all-rounder of the very highest value he also stated that Jadeja's bowling average is better than Shane Warne's and his batting average is better than Shane Watson. Since his debut in 2009, Jadeja has played 49 Tests, 165 ODIs, and 49 T20Is.
