The Income Tax officials on Thursday carried out raids at Congress leader and Karnataka minister DK Shivakumar's office in Bengaluru. Earlier, raids were conducted at the residences of Karnataka Minor Irrigation Minister CS Puttaraju and his nephew. The raids came a day after Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy expressed fears about possible raids on Congress and JD(S) functionaries in the state. Speaking to local news channel Puttaraju said he's not deterred by the raids as they were politically motivated.
