‘Issuez Resolved’: Amul shares doodle after Ever Given goes floating in Suez Canal

As shipping traffic through Egypt's Suez Canal resumed on March 29, it opened a passage for comical memes and jokes online.

Dairy brand Amul joined the party by sharing its iconic doodle of the Amul Girl with the graphics of the Ever Given ship, which had been blocking the busy waterway.

Amul with its latest comic celebrated the efforts of salvage crews who worked relentlessly to free the enormous cargo ship blocking the canal. 'Issuez resolved,' the caption of the comic reads, along with, 'Amul! Ever Given for taste.'

Earlier last week, a 400-metre long vessel Ever Given got jammed diagonally across a southern section of the Suez Canal, halting traffic on the narrowest shipping route between Europe and Asia.
