'IPL will not get over for BCCI, until each one reaches home safely': IPL COO

Apr 28, 2021 15:27 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Due to the rapid resurgence of Covid-19 in India, BCCI has assured players of complete safety and their safe return. BCCI wrote a letter to all its IPL staff and players, addressing their concerns regarding their return. This came after 3 Australian players decided to return home citing personal reasons. IPL COO Hemang Amin in the letter wrote, 'BCCI will do everything to ensure that you reach your respective destinations seamlessly' He further said that the tournament will not be over for BCCI until every player and staff reach home safely. The cricket board has also imposed additional measures to keep the players safe in the bio-bubble. BCCI has increased the frequency of RT-PCR tests to a test every 2 days and has banned online food delivery as well.
