iPhone users complain iOS 13.2 is killing background apps too soon

Nov 01, 2019 12:22 IST

According to reports, Apple's latest software update for its iPhones, iOS 13.2, is killing background apps too quickly, with some users complaining of difficulty in multitasking across multiple apps. Annoyed with the aggressive RAM management system, users have reported even the new iPhone 11 Pro devices being affected by the issue, despite being the most powerful smartphone the company makes right now. In some cases, the Safari browser reloaded tabs in the background every time they were reopened, and almost every app booted from scratch when accessed again from the multitasking drawer.
