International Women's Day: Mumbai's iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus lights up in pink

Mar 08, 2021 09:03 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Celebrating International Women's Day on the 8th of March, Mumbai's iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus lit up in pink lights ahead of the day.

Women's Day was officially recognised by the United Nations, across the globe in 1977.

The day aims to celebrate womanhood and spread awareness about the various issues that women face in their day to day lives.

Lucknow's Charbagh railway station also lit up with pink lights to mark the occasion.
