Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Sunday said he has tested positive for Covid-19. Yediyurappa tweeted that he had tested positive and is being hospitalised as a precautionary measure even though he is fine. Yediyurappa’s daughter, personal secretary, and 5 other members of his staff have also tested Covid positive. He is the second chief minister to test positive for Covid-19 after Shivraj Chouhan in Madhya Pradesh. Yediyurappa requested all those who came in contact with him recently to "be observant" and exercise self-quarantine. The 77-year-old chief minister has been admitted to Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bengaluru.
