Indian players have been fined 20% of their match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate in the opening ODI against Australia on Friday. Kohli's men were one over short of the target, said David Boon of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees. The ICC Code of Conduct for players and player support personnel states that 20% of the match fee is deducted for every over, the team fails to bowl in the given time.
