The worst affected district in Madhya Pradesh, Indore saw a massive jump of 94 cases on Tuesday as the total tally in the state rose to 2,471, state health officials said. 9 deaths were reported on Tuesday taking the death toll to 122 in the central state. 65 deaths have been reported from Indore alone. Meanwhile, a report said a recovering Jabalpur returned to being back in the red zone which could result in an extension of the lockdown in the city beyond May 3. Four new districts in MP recorded their first cases spreading the virus to 31 of the 52 districts in the state.
