Stock markets rallied on Wednesday to close the day in green driven by private banks, autos and metals. After touching the day's high of 41,671, Sensex closed 349.76 points or 0.85% high at 41,565.90. Nifty surged 93.30 points or 0.77% to close slightly above 12,200. Hindustan Unilever was the biggest gainer, ending the day 5% high. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Eicher Motors, ICICI Bank and Nestle India were the other top Nifty movers. Whereas, Yes Bank, Infratel, SBI, IndusInd Bank and BPCL were the top five losers. Indian Rupee was trading at 71.31 against the US dollar, down 3 paise.
