India to supply Covid-19 vaccines to 6 key partner nations

Keeping in mind the requirement of the domestic need, the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday said India would be supplying the ‘Made in India’ vaccine to partner countries in the coming few weeks and months. Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and Seychelles will be supplied the two Covid-19 vaccines, Covishield and Covaxin, under grant assistance. Regulatory clearances are awaited from Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Mauritius.

India, which started vaccination drive from January 16 for health workers, said its committed to help all humanity to fight the pandemic.
