India on Sunday set a new global record with the highest single-day spike of nearly 79,000 new cases.
India's Covid-19 case tally crossed the 35 lakh mark on Sunday with 948 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The total number of cases in the country stands at 35,42,734 including 7,65,302 active cases, 27,13,934 cured & 63,498 deaths stated the Health Ministry. Active cases are the highest in Maharashtra followed by Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
