Aug 01, 2019 23:08 IST

India has strongly objected to the United States approving a proposed military sale worth $125 million for Pakistan's F-16 jet fleet. External affairs ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar told the media that India had called in the American ambassador in New Delhi to convey its “grave concern” and the matter has also been raised with the Trump administration in Washington. Days after Pakistan PM Imran Khan met President Trump, the Pentagon on the 26th of July announced, that the state department had approved the proposed sale.
