Indian shuttlers are off to an impressive start at the India open 2019. 3rd seed Kidambi Srikanth staged an amazing comeback to beat World No. 37 Wong Wing Ki Vincent 21-16, 18-21, 21-19, to book a pre-quarters berth. 5th seed Sameer Verma defeated Rasmus Gemke in straight games, while HS Prannoy stunned 8th seed Kantaphon Wangcharoen 14-21, 21-18, 21-14 in their 1st round matches.
