India climb to 2nd spot in World Test Championship points table

As the race to play the final of the World Test Championship gets tighter, India has climbed to the 2nd spot in the points table after registering a crushing win over England. Courtesy the points collected in Chennai, India with 69.7% points collected vs points earned are now 2nd behind New Zealand. England have fallen behind in the race with 67% points collected vs points earned at the 4th spot below Australia. Interestingly, many are questioning the system and fixtures of the World Test Championship as Australia have played only one series away from home whereas England and India have played three away series while the Kiwis who have reached the final played 2 away series.
