Feb 24, 2019 22:50 IST

After Samsung's Galaxy Fold, Huawei showcased its first foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Huawei Mate X is essentially a combination of 3 displays, when folded up, it offers a large 8-inch screen. It has two cover displays, a 6.6-inch front display, and a 6.38-inch back display. The Mate X has a borderless design with no notch or punch-hole camera. It uses ‘Falcon Wing’ design and is 5.4mm thin. Huawei claims its 5G modem offers double the speed compared to its industry rivals, essentially saying that a 1GB movie can be downloaded in just 3 seconds. Priced at ₹1,85,000 approximately, Huawei Mate X will be available in mid 2019.
