PC and printing major HP Inc will expand its manufacturing footprint in India by setting up a new facility in Chennai with electronics giant Flex Ltd. The facility is scheduled to be operational from August this year. The company's management expects that PC adoption in India will pick up momentum in the coming months. The move is crucial at a time when organisations are revisiting their global supply chain and logistics strategies amid a pandemic. According to the International Data Corporation, almost every third PC and every second printer being sold in India belongs to HP. According to industry sources, HP India earns close to $2 billion in annual revenue from India.
