Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kerjiwal on Sunday said that the current surge in Covid-19 cases, which is the 4th wave in the national capital, is more dangerous than the previous surge in November 2020. The chief minister also said that Delhi has recorded 10,732 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. He appealed to the people to not step out of their houses unless it is very important.
Kejriwal said that while he is not in favour of imposing a lockdown but shortage of beds and failure in hospital management may not leave them with any other option. He also requested people to get hospitalised only if there is an emergency.
