A gala night in Singapore on Tuesday witnessed over a 1000 chefs and culinary experts from around the world come together to reveal the World's 50 Best Restaurants for 2019. Topping the list was the restaurant Mirazur in the French Riviera, becoming the first ever French restaurant to helm the list. Headed by Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco, the restaurant boasts of its unparalleled views of the Cote D’Azur, and its star dish- salt-crusted beetroot, from its own backyard garden, with caviar cream. Noma in Copenhagen bagged the second spot, while Gaggan in Bangkok climbed to the 4th spot from its 5th position in the list last year. While no Indian restaurant featured in the top 50, here's a look at the top 10 restaurants that made the cut.
