There is heavy deployment of security personnel including the Rapid Action Force at the Delhi-Ghazipur border as the police prepares to evict the protesting farmers after orders from the Uttar Pradesh govt. The Ghaziabad administration has given the farmers time till Thursday night to vacate the area.
Farmers leaders have claimed that the administration has also cut electricity and water supply to the protest site. The farmers have however refused to leave and said that if required they will get water from their villages but won't end the agitation.
Following UP govt's eviction orders there have been reports of protesters moving closer to the stage area.
