Heat wave grips north, central India, Delhi boils at 45°C

Heat wave has gripped northern and central India with the temperature touching 47.6 degree Celcius in Prayagraj on Thursday. The mercury rose in the national capital as well with a maximum recorded temperature of 45 degree Celcius and minimum temperature of 24 to 28 degree Celcius while it is likely to cross 45 degree Celcius in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra as well. The IMD predicts heat wave conditions to prevail for the next 2 to 3 days.
