The family of the 19-year-old Dalit woman from UP's Hathras, who died in a Delhi hospital a fortnight after she was gang-raped, has alleged that police forcibly cremated her body without their consent. The police have denied the allegation and insisted the cremation was done as per the wishes of the family. India Today journalist reporting from Hathras posted videos and photographs of the woman's pyre and reported that the body was forcibly burnt by the cops after her locking the family members inside their house.
