The Haryana Government has written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India regarding the upcoming elections in the state cricket board. The Ministry feels that the existing state body has not complied with the new constitution of the BCCI which was implemented after the Lodha Committee reforms. As a result, the government fears that the state board might lose its BCCI membership and as a result, the cricketers will have to pay a price for the board's non-compliance. The state government has requested the BCCI to appoint a supervisory committee to avoid this situation.
