American TV channel Hallmark has reinstated ads featuring same-sex couples.
Hallmark's parent company Crown Media, faced severe backlash after they removed the ads on wedding planning site Zola, featuring two brides kissing at the altar, after a complaint from a conservative group.
Celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres and William Shatner criticized the move, with the hashtag #BoycottHallmarkChannel was trending on Twitter at one point.
Hallmark was also slammed by late night TV hosts and 'Saturday Night Live.' The TV network has now apologised for their decision, adding that it will strive to ensure that they work towards being more inclusive.
