Heard took the stand for the first time Wednesday afternoon in the now four-week trial. She described to jurors how they met while filming a movie and fell in love.
Despite their 22-year age difference, Heard said there was an instant connection when Depp met with her as he considered her for a role in his film "The Rum Diary." "I was a no-name actor. I was 22. He was twice my age. He's this world famous actor and here we are getting along about obscure books, old blues" music, said Heard, now 36.
While they had chemistry during filming of the movie, she said they didn't begin dating until doing a press tour for the film's release in 2011. At the outset, they kept their relationship a secret.

During cross-examination Wednesday, Hughes acknowledged that she wasn't making factual determinations that Depp assaulted Heard on specific occasions. But she testified that Heard's account of her experiences are consistent with accounts of those experiencing domestic violence.
Hughes said the sexual assaults included Heard being forced by Depp to perform oral sex. On cross-examination, though, Depp's lawyers noted that, during psychological testing performed as part of Hughes' evaluation, Heard denied being forced to perform oral sex.
Hughes said Heard initially was framing the encounters as consensual but "angry sex." "She wasn't framing them as physical force," Hughes said.

Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo joined other celebrities making a final push for voters in Brazil to register before the Wednesday deadline, prompting dismissive responses from President Jair Bolsonaro.
In recent days, A-listers in Brazil and abroad have used their prestige and social media platforms to call for young, first-time voters in Brazil to register to vote in the October presidential election that is expected to pit far-right incumbent Bolsonaro against former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of the leftist Workers' Party.
In Brazil, voting is mandatory for anyone aged between 18 and 70, and failure to vote entails paying a small fine. Those 16 and 17 can vote, but are not obligated and young people have been at the centre of a nationwide get-out-the-vote campaigns.
Brazil's electoral authority says it has received a record number of registration requests.
DiCaprio, an environmental activist, has feuded previously with Bolsonaro over the Brazilian leader's efforts to expand development in the Amazon rainforest.
With the deadline nearing, DiCaprio sent three posts on his official Twitter account — all written in Portuguese — to encourage registration.
"Sixteen and 17 year olds have the power to help build Brazil's future," he wrote in one, linking to a website with step-by-step instructions on how to register. "To exercise this power, you need to register to vote by 23:59 today." Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo joined other celebrities making a final push for voters in Brazil to register before the Wednesday deadline, prompting dismissive responses from President Jair Bolsonaro.
In recent days, A-listers in Brazil and abroad have used their prestige and social media platforms to call for young, first-time voters in Brazil to register to vote in the October presidential election that is expected to pit far-right incumbent Bolsonaro against former President Luiz In&aacute;cio Lula da Silva of the leftist Workers' Party.
In Brazil, voting is mandatory for anyone aged between 18 and 70, and failure to vote entails paying a small fine. Those 16 and 17 can vote, but are not obligated and young people have been at the centre of a nationwide get-out-the-vote campaigns.
Brazil's electoral authority says it has received a record number of registration requests.
DiCaprio, an environmental activist, has feuded previously with Bolsonaro over the Brazilian leader's efforts to expand development in the Amazon rainforest.
With the deadline nearing, DiCaprio sent three posts on his official Twitter account &mdash; all written in Portuguese &mdash; to encourage registration.
"Sixteen and 17 year olds have the power to help build Brazil's future," he wrote in one, linking to a website with step-by-step instructions on how to register. "To exercise this power, you need to register to vote by 23:59 today." Ruffalo has also used social media, retweeting to his 8 million followers a selection of short comic videos made by Brazilian teenagers explaining how to register.

"Let's rock this campaign! Democracy and the planet win," Ruffalo wrote on May 1, using the trending hashtag #TiraOTituloHoje, which translates as #RegisterToVoteToday.
At home, legendary Brazilian actress Fernanda Montenegro and singer Anitta also encouraged young people to vote. The latter told her nearly 17 million fans on Twitter that she had discussed the issue at length with DiCaprio at this week's Met Gala in New York City, and that the actor knew more about the environment than Bolsonaro.
&ldquo;I'm glad you spoke to a Hollywood actor, Anitta, it's every teenager's dream,&rdquo; Bolsonaro shot back Tuesday on Twitter. &ldquo;I talk to thousands of Brazilians every day. They are not famous, but they are the compass for our decisions, because nobody defends and knows more about Brazil than its own people&rdquo;.

It's about me and what happened to me after Johnny, it is about me after I escaped my marriage, it is about me and my life and what I endured once I got a TRO (temporary restraining order) and moved on with my life. It was about what happened to me after. The only one who made it about him, ironically, is Johnny."

'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' opened to a massive weekend at the box office. The film which was released on May 6 minted ₹ 97 crore on Day 3 in India.
The blockbuster which is a sequel to the 2016 film, 'Doctor Strange' managed to garner ₹ Rs 30 crore on its first day and ₹ 26 crore on its second day.
The Benedict Cumberbatch starrer film is doing a phenomenal business in India as it has become its fifth market in the international circuit after Korea, UK, Mexico, and Brazil.'Doctor Strange 2' has also smashed its debut box office records which opened to Rs. 13.90 crores in November 2016.
'Variety’ states that the sequel has minted $27 million internationally on its opening day overseas. The film had sold $65 million worth of tickets in domestic pre-sales alone.
The Sam Raimi directorial follows the story of Doctor Stephen Strange who lands in the multiverse where he faces multiple alternate versions of himself. The film also stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.
