After former England captain David Gower praised Sourav Ganguly's impeccable work as the BCCI President and even went on to say that he is capable of heading the ICC, South Africa's director of cricket Graeme Smith too echoes the same belief. Smith told local reporters that from South Africa's perspective it would be great to see a cricket man like Ganguly getting into the president's role of the ICC. The former South Africa captain added that it will be good for the modern game as Ganguly understands it well. Smith further added that dada has played at the highest level, he is respected and his leadership will be key going forward. Current ICC president Shashank Manohar's term ends this month.
