Delhi Chief Minister held a high-level meeting over people gathering at the Markaz building in Nizamuddin on Monday. Hundreds reportedly attended a religious congregation in the locality had shown symptoms for the new coronavirus, after which a major part of the area was cordoned off by authorities. A 68-year-old Philippines national who passed away last Sunday in Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital had also visited the Nizamuddin congregation between March 3-10. Reports quoting Home Ministry sources say, Indonesians who visited the Nizamuddin markaz came to India on tourist visa but attended religious congregation without informing the authorities. They could be blacklisted for violation of visa rules.
