Govt top brass went into a huddle late on Sunday night, hours after the protesting farmers rejected the centre's proposal of holding early talks to discuss their grievances. Home minister Amit Shah, defence minister Rajnath Singh and agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar met at BJP chief JP Nadda's Delhi house for over two hours to discuss the farmers' protests. Thousands of farmers are camping on Delhi's borders with UP and Haryana seeking to enter Delhi to protest against the farm laws. They have rejected Centre's offer to hold protest at the Burari ground on the outskirts of Delhi.
