BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur's comment calling Gandhi assassin Nathuram Godse created a storm in Parliament on Thursday. As the opposition raised heat, govt went in a damage control mode. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on the floor of House that his party doesn't agree with an ideology that eulogises Godse. He also condemned Pragya Thakur's statement.
The Defence Minister said, "The very thought of calling Godse a patriot- BJP condemns the idea."
