The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has extended the ban on international scheduled flight operations till August 31. Earlier the deadline was till July 31. The restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations and flights specifically approved by the DGCA. To allow gradual movement of passenger traffic during the Covid-19 situation, ‘Transport Bubble’ agreements have been signed with the USA, France, and Germany. India is planning to establish a bubble with the UK soon under which there would be two flights per day between Delhi and London.
