Ghazipur violence: Akhilesh slams CM Yogi's 'thoko neeti'

Samajwadi chief Akhilesh Yadav hit out at Uttar Pradesh chief minister for his 'encounter policy'. Akhilesh said Yogi's 'thoko neeti' has both cops and people confused. Akhilesh added that policemen were doing the encounters to get better postings, while the disgruntled mob was killing them in anger. "This incident has occurred due to CM's encounter policy. Whether he is in office or on stage, he only speaks the language of shootout. Policemen get confused about who should they shoot, sometimes people can't understand who the target is", said Akhilesh.
