Germany has reported the first human to human transmission of the Wuhan coronavirus in Europe. A man was reported infected by a work colleague who had been in China, and the victim did not show any symptoms when the virus was transmitted. China has warned that people may be infectious before they start to feel ill. This is the first reported European case of transmission from one person to another but it has also occurred in Japan and Vietnam.
