To counter BJP's move to bring in a No-Confidence Motion in the Rajasthan Assembly, chief minister Ashok Gehlot has declared that he will seek a Trust Vote. If the Chief Minister moves a Confidence Motion, it will supersede the no-confidence motion moved by any other member, according to the rules. With return of the rebel MLAs who had walked out with Sachin Pilot, Gehlot enjoys the support of 125 MLAs in the House of 200. BJP has 72. The BJP had on Friday said that the Gehlot govt has been saved by patch and will crack under its own contradictions. The Chief Minister, at the height of his clash with Pilot, had accused him of conspiring with the BJP to bribe MLAs to cross over and bring his government down.
