FSSAI recommends these power foods for stronger immunity

Tough times call for tougher actions. As the novel coronavirus continues to grapple the world, the only guard we have is our immunity. The Food Safety & Standards Authority of India has suggested some power-packed foods that can help boost your immune system. The Indian gooseberry or amla contains Vitamin C and polyphenols known to fire up your immunity. Oranges are also storehouses of Vitamin C. Whip up the fruit into a fresh juice or eat it in your salad. Papaya is packed with Vitamin A, B, C, and K, giving you all the required nutrients in one!
Capsicum is known to reduce oxidative stress and is rich in vitamin C, helping you fight various kinds of virus diseases.
Load up on the guavas! The fruit contains four times the vitamin C found in oranges. Finally, the quintessential lemon water should be your immunity-fix. Lemons are rich in vitamin C and loaded with antiviral and antibacterial properties.
