From DIY to fresh food, here's how India is reinventing itself at home

A new report by Facebook India and the Boston Consulting Group analysing consumer behaviour says that there positive rise in the demand for fresh food while spending on cosmetics is on a downward spiral. According to the report, 44 per cent of people online intend to increase spending on fresh food, 52 per cent on staples and 47 per cent on packaged food in the next six months. Ideas like 'remote living', 'do it yourself', 'super hygiene and clean living' also witnessed a new high. Viewing of cooking recipe video increases 2.7 times along with a 100 per cent spike in 'how-to' clips.
