An emotional Indian head coach Ravi Shastri gave a special speech on Tuesday to hail the wounded Team's lion-hearted efforts in bringing home the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
Lauding the Team's courage, resolve, and spirit, Shastri said, 'forget India, the whole world will stand up and salute you'
Shastri in his stirring speech also heaped praise on Shubhman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Rishabh Pant who rode India to victory in Brisbane. While he said Gill's efforts were great, he commended Pujara by calling him the ultimate warrior. For Pant, Shastri said that the way he batted he gave heart attacks to a few every moment but what he has done is magnificent. India who have now won 2 back-to-back Test series Down Under, scripted history by handing Australia their first loss in 32 years at Gabba on Tuesday.
