The Vasari Corridor, which connects the Uffizi Gallery with the Pitti Palace in Florence, is all set to open to the public by 2021. The corridor which houses 'rare' magnificent master pieces of art dating back to the middle ages, closed down in 2016 for safety reasons. Post renovation, the secret corridor will come with emergency exits, video surveillance, renewed lighting and air conditioning. Visitors will get a chance to walk through the art and history of Florence! The corridor was meant for the royalty, walking from the Uffizi to the Palazzo Pitti.
