Pranjal Patil, the first visually impaired IAS officer of the country, has now taken charge as the sub-collector of Thiruvananthapuram . Hailing from Maharshtra, Pranjal lost her eye sight at the age of 6. Pranjal secured the 124th rank in the UPSC examinations in 2017, and has completed her Masters in International Relations from JNU. She was received by Superintendent of RDO office TS Anil Kumar on her arrival
