The financial capital is gearing for a a fresh phase of lockdown as cases continue to soar and reports that the Uddhav Thackeray government is preparing a fresh SOP.
Reports in local daily news say a second lockdown is expected to be imposed from April 2 or April 3 in Maharashtra for a limited period as per sources. According to unconfirmed sources, the administration, after receiving orders on Sunday from CM Uddhav Thackeray, has started preparing for the restrictions.

Thackeray's directives came at a review meeting on Sunday in which the Covid Task Force projected more deaths if restrictions like lockdown were not imposed
Maharashtra reported 31,643 cases on Monday and accounts for over 3.36 lakh active cases in the country.
