As Bundesliga and Premier League are thinking about a possible restart before June ends, on Tuesday FIFA Medical Committee chairman Michael D'Hooghe said that football should not be played until September. D'Hooghe said that it was too early for players to be coming in contact with one another, at least while social distancing rules are still in place. He also said that if it does resume referees should be allowed to caution players who are seen to spit during the match.
