Kolkata Knight Riders have now made it a habit of winning nail-biting games as KKR pulled off yet another thriller. This time beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in a Super Over. Batting first, Kolkata had a slow start until Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan's 58-run stand in the last 5 overs powered KKR to 163/5. Chasing which, SRH were off to a strong start and scored 58 runs in the powerplay overs. But Lockie Ferguson had other plans. Playing his first game of the season, he rattled the Sunrisers with a spell of 3/15. David Warner came lower down the order and took SRH's hopes alive with a gritty 47. In the process, he also became the first foreign player to complete 5000 runs in the IPL. But SRH managed 163/6 as the game went into a Super Over. Ferguson once again worked his magic and cleaned up both batsmen to restrict Hyderabad to just 2 runs, which KKR chased down with ease. They have now won 5 of their 9 games.
