The ball which is dropped in New York's Times Square on New Year's Eve, received finishing touches on Sunday. It was decked with 192 glittering Waterford crystal triangles. Every year, some crystals are swapped and this year's addition is a new design called the 'Gift of Happiness'. The ball, which is a 12 foot geodesic sphere with 32,256 LED Lights will be dropped at 11:59 pm on 31st December and people will get to witness it virtually.
