Facebook announced that it is buying Beat Studios, the maker of popular virtual reality game Beat Saber, in a bid to expand the immersive technology to a wider audience. Beat Studios said that they will become part of Oculus Studios--Facebook’s VR gaming group--but will keep operating independently.
