'Fabricated': Pak rejects NIA's Pulwama chargesheet

Aug 27, 2020 10:30 IST

Pakistan has rejected India's National Investigation Agency chargesheet in the Pulwama terror attack of 2019. Calling it “fabricated”, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry termed the chargesheet as “mischievous attempts to implicate Pakistan in the Pulwama attack”. IT added that the chargesheet has been "designed to further the BJP's domestic political interests”. In the charge sheet, the NIA has named Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad, Maulana Masood Azhar and his brothers for planning the 2019 Pulwama attack which left 40 CRPF troopers dead.
