A new study published in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings reveals that exercise is the secret to losing unhealthy visceral fat that is often hidden in the body. Researchers at the UT Southwestern Medical Center analysed two kinds of interventions, exercise and medicine, to understand what works better when it comes to defeating internal fat. The research concluded that exercise, whether weight lifting or cardio is the best defence and even though visible pounds may not be coming off with exercise that does not indicate that visceral fat is not melting away.
