Liverpool faced two penalties in a Premier League game for the first time in over 2 years as Brighton held them to a 1-1 draw on Saturday night. After Mohamed Salah's goal was disallowed for off-side, Diogo Jota gave Liverpool lead in the 60th minute with his 9th goal in 14 outings for The Reds. It seemed that Liverpool had sealed he game when Substitute Sadio Mane found the net but that goal was also disallowed by VAR. Neal Maupay had missed the first spot kick but Pascal Gross didn't miss the opportunity after being awarded a penalty in injury time. Though the equaliser snatched a win from Liverpool but they are still unbeaten in 12 consecutive matches against Brighton.
