Electric planes to be a reality by 2030

European budget airline easyJet has announced that it will be flying electric planes by 2030. The new technology is expected to not just cut emission but also noise. The air carrier has also partnered with American start-up Wright Electric to bring this mission to life. Their current target is to cut carbon emissions by 10 per cent per passenger per kilometer by 2022.
