An eight year old Indian climate activist, Licypriya Kangujam, led the ' Great October March 2019' in the Gajapati district of Odisha recently. The protest, which saw over 1000 people participate, claimed to be the world's largest rural climate strike. The march aimed to call on world leaders to take urgent action against climate change. People, both young and old, held posters that read 'Make love, not CO2' and 'Air pollution is not a joke. It will choke you'.
