Ecuadorian man and woman become world's oldest married couple

At 110 and 104, Ecuadorians Julio Mora and Waldramina Quinteros are the world's oldest married couple, according to the Guinness World Records.

The couple, both retired teachers, currently reside in Quito, Ecuador's capital city. They got married back in 1941, in a secret ceremony as their families did not agree to the marriage. They've been married for 79 years now and have bagged the title of the oldest married couple, with an aggregate age of 214 years and 358 days!

The duo are parents to five children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grand children and 9 great great grandchildren. A few of their favourite things include going to the cinema together, and harvesting plants. Love, maturity, and respect in their opinion, is the key to a long and happy marriage.
